In a world propelled by advancements in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), coupled with the transformative magic of three-dimensional (3D) printing, a revolution is underway. Industries like automotive, aerospace, and medical devices are experiencing a paradigm shift, ushering in new possibilities and business solutions. The challenge of this camp is to identify a business and design need within the realm of medical, industrial, and consumer markets. Guidance from the instructor provides a more narrow focus for the particular product.

Dive deep into the intricacies of these tools during the first two days of the camp. Then, armed with newfound knowledge, embark on a two-and-a-half-day Hackathon—a creative marathon where teams of 3-5 students develop a process-oriented business and engineering design plan. Bring your product idea to life through 3D printing additive manufacturing part. Pitch your product idea, engineering design, and business plan during the culminating challenge.
