Financial Planning Academy Camp

Applications for the financial planning camp have closed.

Developed by Texas Tech University and funded by Charles Schwab Foundation, this application-only summer program offers rising high school sophomores-seniors training in personal financial management. You will work on a financial planning case study, develop a financial plan, and compete for scholarships and prizes. In addition to promoting financial literacy, this camp provides insight into the Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) industry and shows you the value of financial planning as a profession.

If selected for this residential program, you must only pay the registration fee ($150), which covers lodging, food, and activities.

Prerequisites:
None. This course is designed for students with little to no background in finance or money and is open to all students in this age range who are interested in exploring personal finance and careers in the financial industry. Note: this camp will require an application.
