About this camp
Paging all future physicians! Explore a career as a medical doctor in this weeklong camp and begin learning how to correlate scientific aspects of various body systems (e.g., nervous, cardiovascular, digestive) with clinical manifestations of related diseases that occur in each.
Enjoy unique access to labs, technology, and teaching resources as you study the various systems through short lectures, hands-on activities, and selected dissections of organ specimens.
This camp is led by current medical students from the Augusta University/UGA Medical Partnership, who have collaborated with faculty to develop an engaging, application-based curriculum designed to challenge and inspire you.
Discover the strategies these medical students use for achieving college success and explore medical school pathways. Find answers to all your questions about pre-med requirements, clinical volunteering, and research opportunities. If you’re serious about pursuing a career as a doctor, surgeon, or medical researcher, this is where it begins.
