PSO & You: Forward, Focused, and Ready

Navigating Change with Confidence

Professional Development Session 1

Change is a constant in today’s workplace. Whether it involves new technology, changing priorities, organizational restructuring, or evolving job responsibilities, understanding how change happens is essential for both individual and organizational success.

Many change efforts focus on “what” is changing rather than “how” to implement change successfully. In this session, participants will explore the key components of successful change implementation, including why people respond differently to change and what helps build commitment during times of transition. Participants will leave with practical strategies to navigate change with confidence and contribute to successful outcomes.

Learning outcomes:

  1. Identify common reactions to change
  2. Recognize steps to take to navigate uncertainty and change
  3. Discover strategies for communicating change in ways that build understanding and reduce resistance
